The HSE Advisor will need experience in working with crushing, screening and load out facilities, along with a full understanding of UNDERGROUND ore extraction safety procedures.

Your accountability will include
  • Coordination, implementation and maintenance of the safety management program
  • Working as part of a small team of specialist Owner/Operator HSE supervisors
  • Providing advice to the PM for the development of sections of the project plan
  • Reporting on H&S matters to the project team including monthly summary reports


You will require
  • 5+ years in a similar HSE Adevisory role that has involved underground operations
  • Gold Mine Safety Experience
  • Tertiary Qual's in Occupational Health and Safety
  • A demonstrated ability to influence mining to achieve highest possible safety standards
  • Working knowledge of the statutory and regulatory environment associated with mining
  • A willingness to re-locate or work FIFO

To be considered for this role you must possess experience working on offshore vessels such as Subsea Support Vessel, Construction Support Barge, Supply Vessel, AHTS, PSV, DSV etc
A diploma in Occupational Health & Safety is a minimum requirement as is experience in incident investigation and risk assessments and prior experience working in an offshore environment.
A thorough understanding of Health & Safety requirements as prescribed by NOPSEMA will be vital to the success of any applicant as well as knowledge and understanding of all related legislative requirements as they pertain to the offshore oil & gas industry.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation of project HSE documentation
• Conducting offshore HSE audits / inspections of subcontractors
• Providing project/site/vessel HSE support offshore.
• Developing and conducting project training program, inductions and development of training schedules and procedures
• Incident investigation and reporting
• HAZID facilitation and participation
• Ensure compliance with the HSE Management System
• Development of HSE procedures for offshore operations etc

    A large part of the role will involve providing coatings and insulation expertise to both the contractor and company teams and utilising an array of experience to ensure the best and most cost effective construction methods are used during early works and through to EPC execution.

    Your primary responsibilities include:

    ·Management of main contractor during EPC early works and through to the execution phase for major coating and insulation related activities within all site construction methodology on the main LNG site, Blaydin Point.

    ·Ensuring best practice construction considerations and methods are delivered to the project for EPC and related activities.

    ·Acting as an advisor on construction best practice to senior onshore team members as required from time to time.

    ·Providing an interface between construction and engineering by supporting discipline engineers during constructability reviews for both company and contractor.

Due to their current influx of pipeline projects they are looking to recruit pipeline engineers (Construction) for a gas project in Queensland
    The duties of the Pipeline Engineer include:
    • Supervising contractors along with providing engineering support and expertise during project construction phase
    • Providing technical support to all construction personnel
    • Coordinating the effective transfer of piping engineering data and information between Client, Contractors, and Subcontractors
    • Ensuring scope of works are delivered on time
    • Reporting on cost control and planning
    The requirements of the Pipeline Engineer include:
    • Degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
    • A minimum of 3-5 years experience working on the construction of major pipeline projects
    • Strong technical knowledge
    • Previous experience working on oil and gas projects

You will ideally be an existing Construction Manager of Senior Project Engineer who can demonstrate previous project delivery exposure on high pressure gas pipelines (steel).

    To be considered for this Construction Manager role you must possess;

    • A tertiary qualification in civil or mechanical engineering
    • At least 10 years experience within the construction sector with at least 6 years within a hard dollar contracting environment
    • Demonstrated exposure to construction projects between $25-50m
    • Extensive exposure to the construction of steel pipelines within a highly regulated environment
    • Good eye for detail coupled with a commitment to HSE and QA compliance
    • Ability to negotiate and influence external stakeholders
    • Ability to culture a productive and respectful internal team
    • Well developed commercial acumen with proven skills in managing production rates in line with cost and program targets
