Currently taking applications for an experienced Trade Qualified Underground Mobile Maintenance Drill Fitter for permanent FIFO Brisbane or Sunshine Coast to North Queensland Metalliferous mine.

 

Essential criteria:

 

• 2+ years experience in a Underground Drill Fitter Mobile Maintenance position.
• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Plant Mechanic), Dual Trade Certificate highly regarded.
• Experience working with Atlas Copco drills.
• Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately diagnose breakdowns and interpret electric, hydraulic schematic diagrams.
• A strong commitment to safety, and ability to work with a team.
• Proven decision making skills and the ability to find solutions

 

You will be require to perform daily and weekly servicing of production and development drills, diagnose breakdowns, carry out component repairs and rebuilds and mentoring and teaching apprentices.

 

Most of all you will need be driven with great communication skills and have the ability to pass a full medical. An attractive salary package is available for the right person.
