Job Description

Overall Purpose
Based in Ploiesti Plant, the Machinist Team Leader will re responsible for supervising a small group of employees within the Machining area

Responsibilities
- Run the welcome to work meetings
- Carry out shift handovers
- Ensure shift schedule adhered to
- Help resolve any tooling/program/maintenance issues
- Identify and address inactivity (individual or m/c) to ensure that all resources are maximized and utilized effectively
- Allocate duties appropriately to team members and recommend shift changes to avoid deviation to the schedule
- Maintain daily checklist journal
- Cover core Supervisor responsibilities as required
- Provide support and challenge team members to meet standard & production hours
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members
- Assign a mentor to new members of the team, ensuring they are inducted into the best practices of the area
- Report exceptional performance & escalate un-acceptable performance
- Ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Policy and the HSE Management System requirements within their activity;
- Participate in team continuous improvement activity
- Apply and respect all quality activities and processes related to position, according to customer requirements and Cameron Quality Management system ;

Job Requirements/ Qualifications
-Technical High/ Professional School Degree, preferable in Machining/ Mechanical field
Must be able to communicate effectively with both Operators and Managers
- At least 3 years experience in manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize, delegate and control work
- Professional approach to job responsibilities and working with others;
- Good judgment and ability to make decisions
- Ability to share knowledge with best practice and to create written documents
