Job Description


Singpellet is a seeking a Production Engineer for their Singapore’s flagship wood pellets operation. The Production Engineer will report to the Plant Manager to oversee all production activities and to meet the output and quality goals Singpellet has set, while maintaining operation efficiency.

The successful applicant must be willing to go to other countries to set up new pelletizing plant.

The ideal candidate responsibilities will be:

Operate all production activities and support all cost saving, quality, safety, housekeeping and maintenance activities as well.


Conduct daily visual inspection and monitoring of all the machines and take immediate action upon detecting any abnormality found during production.


Assist in maintaining a safe and productive production environment.


Assists the Plant Manager in establishing operational objectives goals and targets for our clients.


Assist the plant manager in developing production schedules and duty assignments.


Assists maintenance and repair activities and upkeep for all plant equipment to assure minimal disruption to production activities: pellet mill, hammer mill, dryer are some of the key areas.


Assist programs to control inventory, improve efficiency and increase production to enhance value to the company.


Assist in the purchase requisition for all urgent spare parts / accessories and supported with technical evaluation and recommendation for new purchases.


Assist in routinely spare parts inventory checks for warehouse storage of spares parts and accessories.


Strong application, analytical and problem-solving skills in handling / maintaining Wood Pelletizing equipment.
