Job Description
PEARLOIL (Sebuku) Limited, a Mubadala Petroleum affiliate in Indonesia, is the operator and developer of the Ruby Gas Field in the Sebuku PSC. The project is an important element of our continued growth in Southeast Asia. First gas is expected in the later part of 2013 to supply gas to Indonesia’s domestic market. As the operator we are building the team that will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Ruby.
As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking an OIM to join the team. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working on a 14 day rotation, the OIM will be responsible for the following:
  • Accountable for all activities on the Ruby facilities within the 500 meter safety exclusion zone. Accountabilities shall include but not be limited to; the Health, Safety and Welfare of all offshore personnel, the security of the facilities combined with environmental compliance; maintaining the facilities to ensure productions targets are met whilst complying with Mubadala Petroleum (Indonesia) Core Values, Processes and Procedures, Indonesian Legislation and International Standards.
  • Ensure all staff and contractors demonstrate commitment and compliance with Mubadala Petroleum HSSE policies, Operations Management Framework, SOP and Mubadala Petroleum Core Values
  • Ensure facilities uptime is maximised whilst minimising production downtime through effective planning and strict compliance to the maintenance regime in place
  • Work collaboratively with all cross functional departments to meet production and HSSE targets
  • Responsible for the development of annual cost estimations for input into the OPEX budget.
  • Effectively manage logistics resources with respect to safety compliance, budget and material availability.
  • Responsible to ensure that offshore and onshore supply base stocks (chemicals / TYOS / food etc) are maintained and readily available as needed
  • Responsible to ensure the generation of timely and accurate monthly safety reports
To be successful in this position, you must have demonstrated success in operations supervision/ management with a minimum of 15 years experience. A detailed understanding of natural gas processing, gas compression and general offshore facilities operation is required. While we are seeking an Indonesian National for this position, fluent oral and written English is a must.
