Job Description

Nokia is currently hiring a Portfolio and Planning Manager. This person has to be responsible in leading the portfolio management roadmap by understanding market opportunities and give recommendation to CMT to maximize opportunities

- Act as the main contact person to SU Business units (Smart Devices and Mobile Phones)
- To synthesize the local needs on next product roadmap based on the feeback from sales team, market competition and trend, 3rdparty data (Gfk, IDC) and consumer needs and provide feedback to SU Business units
- Deliver Portfolio Strategy based on the form factor and pricing
- Work closely with Sales Team and MPM to define strong KSP within portfolio and against competitor
- Marketing planning & Marketing analysis
On top of those mentioned, the ideal candidate will be supporting the Head of Marketing to plan and review the marketing investment and driving prioritization of activity and resources to ensure success vs targets. This person will be key member of marketing planning in the beginning of each STP and liase with Finance and Sales team on marketing plan investment (LEAP and Flow)

Desired Skills & Experience

- Analytical and communication skills: Strong data analysis background candidate is deeply grounded in data processing and analytics. One must be extremely comfortable conducting intermediate and advanced analytical tasks. The candidate has a passion for combing through spreadsheets and data.

- General market research expertise: Candidate understands both qualitative and quantative market research methods. One must be able to synthesize and integrate quantitative data with qualitative findings. The candidate is able to identify which research method is most well-suited to a given business objective (e.g when quantative research might not be appropriate etc

- Understanding Telco industry is a plus: Acquires, interprets and applies fact based channel data; uses market, trade to help derive the market opportunities

- Understanding Consumers: Possessing a thorough knowledge and understanding of the nature and significance of consumer’s lifestyles, attitudes, behaviors, desires and preferences in relation to purchasing, owning and using mobile phones, consumer services, and technology
