Lead Engineer – Geology & Pit Optimisation
Lead the geology and pit optimisation teams to provide technical
guidance on complex projects, and to ensure that all designs, geological
modelling, and pit optimisation are based on an accurate understanding
of the nature of the reserves and that operations are performing in
accordance to client’s quality control expectations.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor Degree of Mining Engineering 2.
Min. 5 (five) years of working experience, out of which 2 (two) years
as a Senior Geologist or Senior Mining Engineer or at least a
Supervisory level in Mining industry 3. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software, such as Mincom, MineScape, Gemcom, Minex 4. Experience in open pit optimisation, pit design, and production scheduling 5. Experience in geological and resource modelling 6.
Proven capacity in preparing and updating reserves technical reports,
compliance with industry and operational requirements and compiling and
interpreting geological and assay data 7. Excellent communication skills both in Bahasa and English 8. Outstanding leadership skill 9. Competent in using Microsoft Office 10. Required to assist at project sites when needed 11. Required to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines
Responsibilities: 1. Implement continuous improvement
initiatives to the project sites regarding to geology & pit
optimisation and ensure they are incorporated into Petrosea management
system and procedures. 2. Coach and mentor mining engineers,
geologists and supervisors to ensure that they understand the geological
nature of the mineral / ore deposit that is being mined 3. Maintain a strong capability in the mine planning software and ensure that staff are similarly up to date with their skills. 4. Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing reserve estimations and other advice needed by the Lead Estimator. 5. Providing technical advice and services to support production activities and reporting.
6. Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying
hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages.
7. Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental
Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to
official standard and requirements.
Lead Engineer – Mine Sequence
Lead the mining sequence activities, such as generating 3D designs,
sequence options, and costing alternatives to effectively support the
mining operations to achieve Project Targets, ensure operational
activities are aligned with the Mine Plans and resolve any issues with
Mining Activities and examine the results and choose the most effective
summaries that meets the clients’ constraints.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor Degree in a mining related to Engineering discipline 2. Min. 5 (five) years of working experience, out of which 2 (two) years as a Supervisory level in Mining industry 3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications 4. Experience in drill/blast and dewatering activities will be an advantage 5. Well developed computer skills, including Mine Engineering applications 6. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations 7. Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations 8. Good analytical and problem solving skills, and attention to detail. 9. Fluency in English, written and verbal 10. Willing to work flexible hours to meet position requirements 11. Willing to be placed in any Company location and travel to Project Sites as needed
Responsibilities: 1. Contribute to the development of long
term schedules for integration into shorter mine plans for utilisation
at Petrosea Mining Operation by utilising Petrosea Mine Planning &
Sequencing software 2. Optimise mining sequences to suit site conditions and types of equipment utilized, with consideration given to: • Mining direction • Mining technique • Dip of coal • Width between seams • Interaction issues • Sump location • Dump progress • Pit progress • Drill and Blast • Blending requirements 3.
Highlight and coordinate drawings required for Mine Operations support,
also coordinate the inclusion of routine samples into geological model
updates. 4. Enter new geological information into the plans as it
becomes available to ensure the assumptions reflect actual site
conditions 5. Monitor pit progress according to mine plan strategies
and schedules and regularly update the topography to ensure it reflects
actual site conditions 6. Provide the necessary parameters needed by
the mining operations on a continuous feedback basis to enable short

PRODUCTION MANAGER
Direct and lead mining operation activities in term of support mining
project manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with BMP
(Business Mining Petrosea), project parameters, project schedule,
budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental
policy.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor degree in mining 2. Min. 10 years previous experiences in mining operation (production), minimum 5 years in managerial position 3. Fluent in English, written and verbal 4. Familiar with mining software 5. Good communication and leadership skill 6. Willing to be placed in all company location 7. Excellent computer skill
Responsibilities: 1) Direct and control mining operations
staff on their day to day mining operation, monitor and control mining
equipment usage to ensure the safest and efficient mining operations in
order to achieve production targets and schedule in line with the mine
plan. 2) Ensure that sites mining activities are well coordinatedto
ensure the availability of resources (people, equipment, maintenance). 3) Develop and monitor weekly, monthly and shutdown schedules for inclusion in the BMP plans by the Senior Mining Engineer.
4) Ensure the implementation of long term mine plans and short term
detailed mine execution plans at all levels using the BMP process,
provide the necessary production parameters needed by BMP on a
continuous feedback basis in order to enable short term control
achieving the long term mine plan. 5) Ensure project budgets,
mining schedules, project reporting, progress assessment and project
execution plan are according to plan to meet operational needs and
requirements.. 6) Control the coordination between projects and
subcontractors to ensure consistency and satisfactory performance of the
subcontractors.. 7) Lead, coach and manage subordinate including
recruitment and provide a proper development and succession plan for
them, Promote and develop an open ethical work environment in order to
maintain subordinate in attract, motive and retain. 8) Maintain and
implementing HSE programs by minimise exposure to personnel and the
environment by identifying hazards and risks from the planning phase of
the work packages and during daily operational to ensure the
effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and
requirements.
POSB – Senior Cost Control
To contribute to the success of the POSB by providing accurate and
timely cost reporting, which shows devitiation from budgets and forecast
estimates.
Requirements: • Min. Diploma or bachelor Degree in accounting. • Min. 3 years experience in accounting area • Skill in communication, information dissemination, organization, delegation, supervision • Process strong analytical thinking and ability to communicate with all levels • Ability to maintain confidentiality of some financial documents • Strong negotiation skill • May be required to work extended hours to meet reporting deadlines
Responsibilities: • Responsible to maintain and use effective
cost control systems daily and monthly in accordance with company
procedures from award to completion, using data collected from all
departments at site and off site, and SBOS. • Resposible to
prepare,review and approve the cost report for the project monthly
report in accordance with reporting deadlines. • Responsible to
receive the approves daily worksheets from the base controller and use
this information in the preparation of monthly invoices and reports.
• Responsible to accurately prepare budget forecasting and progress
monitoring ativities and reporting for use by the operations manager and
the supply base manager in controlling project margins. • Responsible to forecast resource requirements including manning levels for use by the Operation Manager •
Responsible to assist with monthly progress claims in association with
the Operations Manager and to ensure the subsequent invoice is submitted
and payment received within the payment terms of each of the contract. • Responsible to prepare cash flow ferecasts for the POSB. • Responsible to prepare and maintain current the project varitation register •
Provide logistical support to the operations manager in resolving
contractual issues with the client, including drafting formal letters
and attending negotiations of a contractual nature. • Provide
support to the Operation Manager with the preparation and documentation
of variations and claims to their scope of work and successfully
negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all
contractual correspondence to settlement.
SENIOR ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR
To prepare detailed cost estimates the Company can have confidence in,
all in accordance with Company procedures and accepted good practice for
the industry. Actively assist the Estimating Team to continually
enhance estimating procedures and processes. Actively contribute to a
positive teamwork environment at all times.
Requirement: 1. May require local & overseas travel for
site visits as well as occasional short term assignments to work in
other Petrosea / Indika offices, partners offices etc. 2. Overtime working will be required from time to time 3. May require acting as a Lead Estimator and/or Tender Manager 4.
Min. 6 years working experiences, with minimum 2 years as an estimator.
Preferably has experience in Material Handling Works and Electrical 5. Min. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering 6. May require to be rotated as a Project Engineer on site once Petrosea can secure the project.
7. Strong background in technical aspect of project site supervision,
technical standard, method of work, calculation, and preferably also in
design work 8. Computer Literate (Ms. Office), MS Project, preferably also AutoCAD, Primavera, Tecla, Helix
Responsibilities: 1. Prepare estimates is PETS format in accordance with Petrosea’s procedures. 2. Prepare and maintain electronic and hardcopy tender files in accordance with Company procedures. 3. Prepare or arrange for detailed MTOs (quantity take-off) from tender documentation.
4. Attend site visit and prepare detailed report of existing local
conditions, available facilities and technical capabilities. 5.
Ensure the Estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail
and is in accordance with good estimating practice. Sufficient
explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of
supplementary information. 6. Ensure that a comprehensive
Subcontract Enquiry Package is sent only to Company Approved
Subcontractors for any “major subcontract” work. Terms and conditions of
the Subcontract Package must be back to back with the head contract.
Comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Packages to be reviewed by all
Division functional departments. 7. Ensure Subcontractor responses
are properly evaluated and the results tabulated on a Subcontractor Bid
Evaluation spreadsheet. 8. Ensure (by working closely with the Lead Estimator) that the Indirect Cost Estimate is properly prepared and cost.
9. Identifies (with the Bid Manager and Lead Estimator) the “big
ticket” items in the Estimate and proactively works on these with the
bid team with a value added outcome as the aim. 10. Assist
designated Planner in the preparation of the construction schedule,
providing man hours and plant requirement for each activity and also
indicating anticipated durations and minimum manning. 11.
Participate with the Lead Estimator and other Discipline Estimators in
benchmarking productivities to be applied to the Estimate against
recognized industry norms. The productivity uplift/discount shall be
shown separately for each bill item in the estimate. 12. Assist the
Lead Estimator and Bid Manager in the identification, evaluation and
ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate
the risks to Company. R&O Matrix is to serve as the basis for
estimating an appropriate contingency allowance for inclusion in the
Cost Estimate. 13. Ensure the Estimate Basis is “Current Cost” by
utilizing the labour and staff rates prepared by the Estimating Manager
and all material prices are from current quotations. 14. Present for review by the Lead Estimator the Cost Estimate in detail prior to review of the tender by management.
15. Assist Bid Manager with the preparation of a list of commercial and
technical clarifications and qualifications to the proposal. 16. Assist Bid Manager in completing Client’s pricing and technical tender schedules.
17. When requested, carry out peer review of estimated compiled by
other estimators and or divisions, checking for completeness, pricing
accuracy and adequate manning and plant requirements. 18.
Responsible for continually maintaining and updating the database of
estimating norms including feedback from past projects in Division
Estimating and Norms Manual.From time to time work as a Bid Manager
Senior Mining Engineer
Leadership of Mine Planning Staff and resources to produce short and
long term mine plans and schedules, complete with relevant systems and
procedures that support the mining operations to acheive Project
objectives within budgetary and contractual constraints.
Requirements: 1. Min bachelor degree in a mining related Engineering discipline 2. Min four years experience in mining industry, including at least two years in Mine Planning 3. Demonstrates good knowledge of Mining equipment capabilities and applications 4. Experience with drill/blast and dewatering activities an advantage 5. Well developed computer skills, including their application to Mine Engineering 6. Ability to use Mine Planning and Scheduling software including practical application to mining operations 7. Good knowledge of best practices in Mining operations 8. Good analytical and problem solving skills. Attention to detail. 9. Fluency in English, written and verbal 10. Responsibilities: 1. Proactively develop Twenty Four Month Plans and determine mine infrastructure, fleet and personnel resource requirements. 2. Modification of Plans in line with resource allocations where applicable 3.
Critically review the Client provided Annual Mine Plans (and other Mine
Plans as received) for accuracy, conformance to the Contract
requirements and achievability. Provide alternatives and cooperatively
work with Client to produce the most mutally satisfactory Annual Mine
Plan. 4. Review Client plans and requests to ensure the
requirements defined are incorporated in the works and the
responsibilities allocated under the Project quality system are
understood and implemented. 5. Proactively identify variations to
the Contract and cooperate with the Commercial Team to follow through on
claiming variations. 6. Contribute to the development of the Three
Monthly, Monthly and other short term detailed Mine Plans to integrate
with the Mining Operations. 7. Provide the necessary paraments
needed by the Mining operations on a continuous feedback basis to enable
short term control to achieve the long term Mine Plan. 8. Closely
monitor work practices and output to ensure that the integrity, clarity
and thoroughness of the information that is produced by the project Mine
Planning function is of a high standard and relevant to the
requirements. 9. Maintains a strong capability in the mine planning
software and ensures that mine engineering staff are similarly up to
date with their skills. 10. Contribute to the development of long
term schedules for integration into shorter term mine plans for
utilisation at Petrosea’s Mining operations (using PTP specified
scheduling software). 11. Monitor and coordinate engineering
activities to ensure efficient production of engineering plans to meet
contract program requirements. 12. Conduct evaluation and analysis of mine schedules to ensure that they meet Petrosea’s goals. 13. Contribute to the budgeting process.
14. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to the Project sites
and ensure they are incorporated into Petrosea Management Systems and
Procedures. 15. Coaching and mentoring of Graduate Mining Engineers and other Engineering related personnel.
16. Contribute to the compilation of tenders and other cost estimation
work by providing mine planning and design support as required by the
Estimator. 17. Provide technical advice and services to support production activities and reporting 18.
Minimise exposure to personnel and the environment by identifying
hazards and risks during the planning phase of the work packages and
recommending effective engineering solutions.
Skill Development Training Superintendent (Asset)
Develop, monitor, measure and evaluate all Asset training program and
it’s implementation to ensure all Asset personnel knowledge, skills and
their work practices comply with Company policy, Government regulation
and other requirements.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor Degree 2. Min 10 years experienced in heavy equipment industry, especially maintenance training area 3. Has strong exposure to develop maintenance trainer, training program of heavy equipment 4. Able to create own training modules / assessment for sustainable maintenance training program 5. Computer literate 6. Good command in English both verbal & written 7. Good leadership skills and team work
Responsibilities: 1. Develop training budget for Asset Training and submit the budget for review and approval.
2. Develop, review and implement Asset Training and Assessment
Procedures, and to ensure its implementations in accordance with
Petrosea’s training procedures at all project sites. 3. Liaise with
Project Manager, Site Maintenance Superintendent and Training
Coordinator to do training need analyse (TNA), developing and improving
present Asset training matri. 4. Provide development of training
programmes by liaising with Plant Manager / Site Maintenance
Superintendent in order to ensure training needs for the maintenance
training meet requirements. 5. Develop and Review training
resources requirements; in order to allocate internal and/or external
resources to all programs in training schedule. 6. Review and
Develop Asset training modules and assessments, in order to maintain the
quality always meet the requirements for all Project sites. 7. Review and analyse Sites Asset Training activity plan and schedule, to ensure that good plan actualization.
8. Develop/review weekly / monthly training report and plan then submit
it to the Technical Training Manager in agreed period of reporting. 9. Coordinate and liaise with other parties (external and internal) for training and assessment activities.
10. Establish and develop technical competency for Asset personnel in
order to have an updated competency matrix for Asset personnel’s. 11. Deliver face to face training programs relating to the related Asset personnel’s.
TRAINING SUPERVISOR – ENVIRONMENTAL
Develop, monitor, measure and evaluate all Environmental Training
Program and Implementation to ensure people Health & Safety
knowledge and work practices comply with company’s HSE policies,
government HSE regulation, and other requirements.
Requirements: 1. Good Computer literate 2. Min. Diploma Degree (preferable from Occupational Health and Safety) 3. Minimal 5 year have experiences as a trainer in HSE Field implementation at high risk industry 4. Hold AK3 certified from government 5. Experiences in Mining industry will preferable 6.
Good knowledge of Accident prevention, Fire prevention, Risk
Assessment, PTO, HSE procedure, Hazob, Inspection, Emergency response,
investigation accident, audit process 7. Good Leadership and communication/presentation skill 8. Good communication in English both verbal and writing 9. Willing to travel to all company’s sites 10. Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives
Responsibilities: 1) Develop, review and implement
Environmental Training and Assessment Procedures, and ensure its
implementations in accordance with Petrosea’s training procedures at all
project sites 2) Conduct, review and evaluate training need analysis (TNA), developing and improving present Environmental training matrix. 3)
Analyze the hazobs, nearmiss, incident records and highlight
Environmental issue to determines the training need as a preventive
action 4) Review and Develop Environmental training modules and
assessments, in order to maintain the quality always meet the
requirements for all Project sites 5) Review and analyse Site Environmental Training activities plan and schedule and ensure good plan actualization 6)
Develop/review weekly / monthly training report and plan then submit it
to the HSE Training Superintendent in agreed period of reporting. 7) Conduct HSE induction, orientation and demonstrate the use of safety equipment 8) Practice continuous improvement by improving processes and procedures.
9) Lead by example and have a proactive approach to all safety and
environmental related issues in order to influence safety awareness
among employees. 10) Performing a strong visible commitment in to HSE Management System as well as all programs.
WATER MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
Develop all water management designs, produce accurate and complex
engineering calculations and documents to ensure all output are
accurate, consistent and in a timely manner conform with International
Engineering and Safety Standards and codes.
Requirements: • Min Bachelor degree in Engineering • Min. 2 years previous experiences in Water Management • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa, written & verbal • Understanding applications of Civil Engineering Software • Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines
Responsibilities: 1. Design all water management work and
document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering
standards and codes as well as company’s management system 2. Operate
and control water management software packages and evaluate output to
suggesting changes and improvement where needed 3. Responsible in design & installation of water withdrawal on sites 4. Responsible for permit, design, contracting & install of pipelines to connect water impoundments to well sites 5. Responsible for permit, design, contracting & installation of water impoundments to hold water for frac operations 6.
Provide technical support and technical guidance to associate engineer
and personnel in order to conduct transfer of knowledge. 7.

Engineer, monitor, control and supervise all water management works,
produce accurate and complex engineering and cost calculations of
dewatering and documents to ensure all output are accurate, consistent
and in timely manner conform with international Engineering and Safety
Standards and codes.
Requirements: 1. Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering 2.
Min. 7 years experiences in Mining Engineering, specialist in Water
Management (Dewatering) or Fluids Mechanics Engineering (pumping of
other Fluids). 3. Work extended hours to meet Engineering deadlines 4. Familiar with Civil Engineering Software
Responsibilities: 1. Minimise exposure to personnel and the
environment by identifying hazards and risks during the operation phase
of the work packages and implement all safety procedures, rules and
regulations and statutory regulations in accordance with the Safety
Management Plan. 2. Monitor and review all water management work
and document to ensure all work adheres to international Engineering
standards and codes as well as company’s management system. 3.
Operate and control water management software packages and evaluate
output to suggesting changes and improvement where needed. 4. Responsible for pump & pipe analysis to make recommendations to match the different Mine Site applications. 5. Responsible for the complete design of each Petrosea Mine site Water site Management Plan.
6. Responsible to work with our PTP Site engineering teams and clients
for approval of Water Management Plans including the timely issuing of
permits, compensation for sedimentation dams. 7. Provide technical
support and technical guidance to associate engineer and personnel in
order to conduct transfer of knowledge.
