Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Capital Projects Team: Senior Facility Engineer – Process located in Duri, Indonesia through June 29, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Position Details:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Senior Engineer role as Process Engineering Advisor for Heavy Oil Operations Engineering Team
Provide Process Engineering subject matter expertise and Project Engineering supports for the $100MM-$120MM portfolio of Small/Medium/Large Capital Projects executed Capital Project Management (CPM) Team
Position is SME that supports process on all CPM Teams from Phase-2 efforts through Phase-4 and champions Process Safety Management activities
Portfolio includes production and gathering system upgrades, safety centered improvements and environmental compliance
Portfolio of projects will be dependent on priorities and needs within Capital Project Management
Position provides Process Engineering subject matter expertise to other teams within or outside of Capital Project Management as required and has responsiblity to help developing Indonesian national employees on Process Engineering expertise through an effective mentoring and coaching process
Process engineering specialist role is a key SME providing mentoring & transfer of process engineering skills to a national workforce
Process engineering specialist is involved in many facets of Heavy Oil operations including Oil & Water treating, Steam generation & distribution facilities, production gathering facilities and disposal facilities
Facilitate compliance with Base Business expectations holding a key role in SFO & IPSO processes for Heavy Oil Operations
Provides technical and project support to Heavy Oil Operations assets
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
10+ years experience in process engineering and thorough knowledge of oil and gas processing and treatment systems, equipment and facilities, design and construction
Requires corporate medical clearance to obtain an Indonesia work permit.
Experience in upstream oil, water, gas facilities is required for this specific job
Strong knowledge and experience in oil, water, and gas production and / or treating process design, construction and operations
Excellent Process Engineering expertise
Eperience in design and construction of upstream facilities
Support compliance with PSM through leadership of Technical Codes and Standards
Knowledgable of the Chevron Project Management System
Strong interpersonal skills for multi-functional project team environment
Demonstrated Leadership and results in OE performance
Proven track record of utilizing OE processes to achieve results in Engineering, Construction, and Contractor Safety
Applies broad experience to all aspects of facility projects and operations to ensure safety, adequate design & construction of facilities are considered in the long term forecasts
Knowledge and application of OEMS and Base Business processes
Knowledge of PSM & Risk Management. Ability to lead and assure quality of PHA's, SOA's and RCA's for process facilities.
Ability to mentor and transfer knowledge
