My client is an internationally known hard rock miner that has a number of operations across the world. With a heavy presence across the East Coast it has opened up fantastic opportunities for experienced and qualified professionals to join an expanding company and take your career to the next level.

The role

I am currently aligned with an absolute POWERHOUSE in the Australian mining industry. With continued growth and expansions across Australia it has allowed a fantastic opportunity for an Underground Maintenance Planner to join the team. You will be responsible for facilitating the maintenance planning process for the maintenance teams, liaise with all maintenance personnel , as well as liaising with management to ensure cost effectiveness of all maintenance and repairs.

You will:

• Have relevant trade qualifications
• Have PRONTO and/or SAP experience
• Have previous experience as an Underground Maintenance Planner
• Have previous planning and scheduling experience
• Have extensive experience with underground machinery
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a proven safety record
