The Wambo Mine is a combined open-cut and underground mine located 30kms west of Singleton that produces thermal coal and pulverized coal injection coal for export and domestic markets.
We are currently accepting applications for experienced Maintenance Fitters , as part of our Open Cut Team.

The successful candidates must be proactive team players, possessing Heavy Dieselor HDFitter qualifications along with:
- Solid experience open cut mining maintenance
- Experience in maintaining and servicing Excavators, mobile earthmoving equipment and fixed plant
- Operation tickets of Cranes, Forklift, EWP and other Mine vehicles Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSEA's, Risk assessments & Permits.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Black Coal competences to operate equipment (desirable)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Generic Coal (Surface) Induction (desirable)
- Current pre-employment medical in line with Order 41 (desirable)
