Senior Reliability Engineer - Natural Gas Pipelines & Facilities
Large midstream energy company enjoying growth and profitability is looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer with reciprocating compressor experience to serve their natural gas pipeline and facility gathering assets. Responsibilities:
·        Monitor condition of engines, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines and pumps.
·        Implement case studies as needed to improve performance on reciprocating compressors, gas turbines and pumps.
·        Review equipment repair scopes, document down time, lost production, mean time between repairs and develop root cause failure analysis reports in order to review and revamp existing preventive and predictive programs for the equipment.
·        Automate and develop reliability reports to benchmark existing equipment performance.
·        Monitor and calculate gas turbine and compressor efficiencies.
·        Troubleshoot equipment issues using vibration analysis.
·        Support project engineering by reviewing equipment specifications and selection, monitoring installation, and start-up of rotating equipment.
 
Candidate Profile:
·        B.S. in engineering and 5+ years reliability experience with natural gas pipelines and/or compressor facilities.
·        Strong knowledge in reciprocating compressor performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair.
·        Understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance concepts as it applies to engines, reciprocating compressors, gas turbines and other rotating equipment.
·        Experience with vibration analysis, root cause analysis and failure analysis.
·        Self-starter with ability to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.
·        Ability to travel with some overnight stays.
