This international mining company is looking for an ambitious Mine Superintendent to join their vibrant team. The company has projects in WA and an exciting exploration program for the years ahead.
This position presents a leadership opportunity for a career minded team player. Throughout this role your main responsibilities will include day-to-day leadership of the mining operation, the delivery and implementation of operational mine plans, and reports and presentations on a monthly basis. You will also ensure that production levels, grade/quality targets and long term strategic plans are achieved while also assisting with the modification of pit designs and the planning of dumps and associated mine infrastructure. You will be capable of developing the systems and tools to improve current planning methods and overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process. As well as this you will be a bold leader, providing direction to your team and ensuring a successful operation.
You will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and the desire to excel at a senior level. Your well-honed communication, organisational and technical skills will help you to success in this role. You will have solid experience in an open pit mining environment and possess an Unrestricted Quarry Manager's Certificate, or be close to attaining one.
