Job Description

The NetApp Mobile Device Access team is building enterprise-grade media access products for smart folks. We are the guys bringing pixel-perfect documents, presentations and other media to Android and iOS phones and tablets. We need engineers with iOS coding experience in Objective C and Xcode.

Desired Skills & Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and Develop code for our iOS Application
• Efficiently implement new complex features and/or optimize code on iOS
• Create designs for complex features and products and communicate them effectively to the team and management
• Write well documented, highly maintainable code
• Work with a team of iOS software developers (including an offshore team)
• Work well within the team and across teams

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Good understanding of iOS with a minimum of 1 year of experience with Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, CoreData and iOS Development.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Sciences, or equivalent and 4+ years of development experience
• Hands on experience writing interfaces for Object Oriented languages (Java/Objective C/C++)
• Solid understanding of threading, asynchronous processing, object oriented design, and SDKs
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills for client / server applications
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Ability to devise creative solutions to unexpected problems
• A strong desire to solve tough technical problems
• Ability to professionally communicate with management, clients and coworkers on the phone, in email, and in person

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graphics, User Interfaces, User Experience
• Familiarity designing or implementing high-performance messaging architectures (pipelined and out-of-order message processing, zero-copy serialization and deserialization)
• Experience with Internet technologies, communication protocols, and techniques.
• Working knowledge of encryption and related security principles, especially as implemented on iOS (Keychain and Trust services)
