Job Description

The Senior Manager Human resources is responsible for supporting the business strategy and executing on key initiatives along with providing HR support to a portfolio of leaders and employees. The Senior Manager HR works in partnership with business leaders to develop HR strategies and implement HR practices, providing consultative and advice-based HR support to assist in achieving their objectives.
The nature of the work spans all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, resource planning, compensation, management development, and employee relations.

This key relationship management role is accountable for building strong partnerships with business executives, people managers, employees and other HR team members. The successful candidate will have the ability to leverage these relationships to provide efficient and effective solutions that support the business while ensuring the delivery of an exceptional employee experience.

A proactive leader, capable of influencing and leading others, the successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects while addressing urgent issues in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be a key resource to the business by developing and sharing knowledge in all areas of Human Resources.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Seasoned HR professional who can demonstrate relationship management breadth, ability to develop and deepen strong relationships with business partners (5-10 years Experience)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing talent, acquisition, management and diversity strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a superior ability to make things happen through the use of impact and influencing skills
  • Strong change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within a business.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and committed to operational and service excellence.
  • Ability to effectively deal with day to day issues and move them forward while earning the right to be at the table early to provide expert counsel and consultation to business partners on their strategic plans
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self motivated team player with high energy and ability to work independently
