AEL MINING SERVICES AEL Mining Services is a leading developer, producer and supplier of commercial explosives, initiating systems and blasting services for mining, quarrying and construction markets in Africa and Indonesia. AEL is currently undergoing an exciting phase of growth. To support this continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit following positions: 1. PROJECT CONTROLLER (CODE: FIN - PC) – to be based in Balikpapan Requirements: - Bachelor”s Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 6 years” experience in accounting and auditing with a public accounting firm, but inventory and fixed asset experience in multinational oil/mining industry is preferred. - Comprehensive understanding in Management & Financial Accounting, Treasury & Taxation, Inventory & Fixed Assets - Have at least 3 years of Oracle, SAP and/or comparable software experience, particularly in the areas of inventory, fixed asset and general ledger modules. - Experience in Explosive Industry is an advantage but not requirement. - Computer literate, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills - Have excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills. - Strong analytical, managerial and organizational skills - English spoken & written is preferable - Proactive, tenacity, able to work under pressure, good leadership 2. JR. ACCOUNTANT (FIN-JAC) – to be based in Jakarta Requirements: - S1 Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 1 year experience. - Preferably with at least 1 year of Oracle, SAP and/or comparable software experience, particularly in the areas of inventory, fixed asset and general ledger modules. - Computer literate with at least intermediate MS Excel skills. - English spoken & written is preferable. 3. DOCUMENT CONTROLLER (ADM-DC) – to be based in Jakarta Requirements: - Matric with at least 3 years experience in an organization that includes Operations, SHE and ISO 14001 and 9000 systems management. Incumbent needs to work closely with Training, Operations and Engineering Managers, and with customers (at all levels) to promote benefits of World Class. - Must have strong organizational abilities, communication skills (verbal and written), tenacity, sets priorities, ability to work independently, organizational skills, and flexibility. - Must know company policies and procedures in depth. - In-depth knowledge of computer software including Lotus Notes (World Class and CRM), CCAS, Purchase Orders on SAP. - In-depth knowledge of World Class Systems database. - Administration of the CRM system. - Full administration of World Class Document Control System. 4. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (CODE: ENG-ELT) – to be based in Balikpapan Requirements: - Bachelor”s Degree in electrical engineering discipline or related field is highly desirable; but a combination of great experience and demonstrated skill associated with industrial installations plus educational accomplishments will be considered in lieu of bachelor”s degree - Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with various Electrical systems as related to design, field start up and commissioning ( COC”s ). - Installations plus educational accomplishments will be considered in lieu of bachelor”s degree. - Knowledge of local compliance requirements. - Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience with electrical calculations and applications a must. - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint. - Excellent communication skills and experience applying technology through teamwork. - Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level. - The incumbent will be required to travel. 5. TECHNICAL SERVICE ENGINEER (CODE: TS – ENG) – to be based at site The Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering - At least 2 years” experience as Blasting Engineer - Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate with clients. - Technical knowledge. - Computer literacy. - Hold blaster competency (KJL II) - Hold POP will be an advantage - Hold a Driver”s license; heavy vehicle would be an advantage. 6. GRADUATE ENGINEER (CODE: ENG – FG) – to be based at site Requirements: - Fresh Graduate from Mining Engineering - Hold blaster competency (KJL II) - Hold driver license 7. FIELD/SITE SUPERINTENDENT (FLD – SPI)– to be based at site Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering, sufficiently mature with a minimum of 6 years experience - A General Driving License. - Letter of No Criminal Record from Police (Valid SKCK). - Able to proficiently speak and write in English - Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level. - Technical knowledge. - Computer literacy. - Hold blaster competency & able to obtain KIM. - Hold Defensive Driving Certificate - Hold valid POP to obtain POM certification. - A Drivers license, B Driving License would be an advantage 8. FIELD SUPERVISOR (FLD-SPV) – to be based at site Requirements: - Senior High School, with minimum 5 years experience or Diploma 3 degree with minimum 3 years experience or Bachelor Degree with minimum 2 years experience. - Certificate of Blasting Competency Holder (KJL 2). - Operational Supervisory Level 1 Certificate (POP). - Computer Literate. - Hold A Driving License, B2 Driving License is preferred. - Hold Defensive Driving Certificate. - Able to communicate English (Written and spoken). 9. SHEQ SUPERVISOR (SHE-SPV) – to be based at site Requirements: - D3 SHEQ, minimum 3 years experience or Bachelor Degree majoring in engineering or public health with 2 years related experience. - Driving License. - Able to speak and written in English. - Good communication skills, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, as the incumbent is required to communicate to management level. - Technical knowledge. - Computer literacy. - Able to obtain POP certification. - Hold Occupational Health and Safety professional certificate (AK3 Umum). 10.
