• Sell to Manufacturers – Grow Private Label Market
• 12 month Contract – View to Permanent
• Total Package around $135,000 Includes Base + MVA + Super

Your new organisation is a sales & marketing driven company specialising in the supply of quality ingredients for the food & beverage industry. They employ highly motivated, passionate and enthusiastic people who fit in well with their team culture.

In this role your prime responsibility will be to develop new, and further enhance existing, ingredients business within ANZ. Part of your role will be to grow the Retailer Private Label Market with emphasis on third-party suppliers and manufacturers.
Other areas of responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships
• Establishing and maintaining existing and potential key accounts
• Working with Marketing Manager to create opportunities for growth within the Retailer Private Label Market
• Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets for territory
• Communicating technically with customers on aspects of food processing applications as they apply to products.
• Assisting Business Manager with the development of the annual sales plan including new business prospects /opportunities
• Working with the Quality Manager to investigate customer complaints and undertake any agreed action to ensure a satisfactory customer outcome.
• Assisting customers in resolving applications problems with technical advice or via alternate product recommendations.
• Keeping appraised of competitor activity, product development needs and pricing practices in the market.

Desired Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you should possess or be able to demonstrate:

• A Bachelor Degree in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
• Experience across a broad spectrum of the food industry with knowledge of the food regulatory environment an advantage.
• Ability to generate new ideas and implement new processes to drive improvement
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
