Senior quality engineer role

We are seeking a number of Software Quality Engineers for our client, responsible for ensuring product quality, through the planning and execution of product testing, and/or process/product standards compliance. This person will work on the Revenue Cycle Management products. This person may have direct involvement in manual or automated test efforts or in developing and managing compliance to standards for process or product quality. Depending on the need and skill level, there may be more technical and/or planning and leadership dimensions to this role.

Responsibilities will include:

Verify product quality through the development of manual or automated test scripts.
Substantiate process quality and consistency through development or adherence to guidelines and standards appropriate to product and industry and/or development life cycle.
Continuously improve test scripts and product coverage.
Complete all updates to test cases, test scripts, test harnesses, test guidelines according to schedule.
Execute all assigned testing, whether manual or automated, according to schedule and any productivity targets committed.
Develop Quality Assurance plans or Test Plans and embed appropriate activities as part of project/product development plans.
Translate user requirements and product features into testing requirements, design, create and execute test cases.

Desired Skills & Experience

BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science or other relevant combination of training and education.
Solid experience as a Senior QA Engineer
Experienced with SDLC, testing methodologies, quality control, and quality assurance
Experience must include functional and regression testing.
Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Experience with both traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development a plus.
Experience with industry standard automation testing tools a plus.
Experience in the healthcare industry a plus.
Knowledge of database technologies (SQL Server) a plus.
Experience with Windows Operating system and environments a plus.
Experience with automated API level testing a plus.
Experience with QTP or other automation tools a plus.
Technical knowledge of latest software programming languages and technologies a plus (C++, C#, Java, .Net, SQL)
Experience with White Box Testing a plus.
