• Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters needed
• 10 Hours A Day (Some weekend shifts) $40 p/hr + super
• South of the river Metro based work

We are currently searching for experiencedHeavy Duty Diesel Fitters/Mechanics for our clients south of the river workshop. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance across Caterpillar earth moving equipment with a particular focus on safety, quality and efficiency. The successful candidates must have experience repairing and maintaining Caterpillar heavy earth moving equipment. There is an allowance for weekend and night work should it be required. However the role is 10 hour days, Monday to Friday and some weekend work is available.

Successful Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters will require:

• Relevant Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter/Mechanic trade qualification
• Motor Mechanic & Fitter Machinist trades are not acceptable
• 1+ years mining equipment/site experience is required
• Experience with Caterpillar mining equipment
• Current valid Driver’s License
• HR license is preferable
• Diagnostic and fault finding experience on mining equipment
• Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance environments
• Ability to pass a medical & drug screen & police clearance
