We are working with a large mining company, they are looking to take on a Senior Mining Engineer who will support the extension of their technologies and methodologies to a wider range of mining situations in one of their offices in London. With recent projects wins they are extending their network in Africa and Asia.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of operating and mine planning experience in open pit mining. They should be able to determine the mine’s medium term requirements. Also ensure that the medium term plan is aligned with the LoM plan. As well as optimize and evaluate the medium and short term mine planning schedules. Candidates should be eligible for the UK, with sponsorship given to outstanding candidates.

Candidates should have a MSc or PhD with in the relevant field. Candidates will be required to interpret and monitor results and use a variety of tools to design mining methods, layouts and support systems for mines worldwide.
