Deputy Mine Manager
- Salary: Basic + Bonus + Benefits
- Location: South East Asia
- Reporting to the Mining Manager, the candidate will be expected to act in this role during his absence.
- Candidate will also act as the Project Lead responsible for ensuring that the team achieves all technical, planning and production aspects to the highest standard and in a timely manner.
- Minimum 10 years extensive experience in open pit mines including management, planning and mine operations; held a role as a Technical Services Superintendent or an Open Pit Manager at a smaller operation looking to take the next step.
- Proven track record in managing a mining contractor would be a plus
- Formal qualifications in mining or civil engineering, Master’s Degree preferred.
- Kepala Teknik Tambang Certificate, good government relations skills.
- Experience in explosives and blasting management, load and haul, administration capabilities excellent communication skills, including competence in speaking, reading and writing English Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- Experience in the development of new mining operations will also be highly valued.
