We welcome expressions of interest for role of Workshop Manager and Shift Leading Hands to be responsible for safety and team leadership and maintenance of our expanding modern fleet to ensure availability to meet client production targets.
 
We are keen to speak with individuals who demonstrate positive safety behavior and are customer focused.  You will have a strong work ethic and experience in the maintenance of RoadTrains, Loaders, Excavators and related equipment.
 
Workshop Manager     
 
This role manages and develops the workshop team of diesel mechanics and fitters, ensuring safety and technical leadership.  You will oversee timely and effective preventative and responsive maintenance of haulage and mobile equipment fleet in order to a high level of service to our client.
 
A relevant trade qualification within a diesel or mechanical field, with experience in a management position is required. The role is responsible for cost management, parts and related ordering and stores. You will need to have well developed technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to develop others. 
 
Workshop Leading Hand
 
This role supervises a workshop team of diesel mechanics and fitters.  You will provide safety and technical supervision and guidance to team members to ensure timely and effective maintenance of haulage and mobile equipment fleet and deliver a high level of service to our client.
 
A relevant trade qualification within a diesel or mechanical field, with experience in a senior team position is sought.
 
You will have a mentoring approach to supervision, contributing your advanced technical skills to implement preventative and responsive maintenance services to site fleet.  Experience with Cummins EGR Motors and Komatsu equipment will be well regarded.
