Job Description

1. Ensures the implementation of the Group Health and Safety Management System.
2. Ensures company compliance with local country safety legislation, standards, codes of practice and Group H&S requirements

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Conduct Building inspection of SCB premises to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards
2. Promotes H&S awareness to employees within the organization
3. Conducts safety risk assessments with other key stakeholders for work practices and advises on plans to prevent and / or eliminate the identified hazards or risks
4. Coordinates the collection & retention of Health and Safety statistical data for reporting on a monthly basis.
5. Coordinates the collection & retention of Environment statistical data for reporting on a monthly basis.
6. Works with other stakeholders to ensure H&S legislative compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Graduated from a good reputation University
2. H&S professional / passed Ahli K3 certification
3. Good knowledge of local regulation relating to HS&E
4. High level of competence in the use of PC’s, spreadsheets, word-processing & data applications.
5. Strong communication / influencing skills both verbally and written.
6. The ability to work with minimum supervision and prioritize workload.
7. Fluent in English (oral and written).
