Reporting to the Team Leader Instrument/Electrical, you’ll undertake the servicing and repair of instrument and electrical systems and equipment. Working on plants and in the field, you’ll find and diagnose faults, enhance safety systems, optimise processes and improve equipment availability.

Self-motivated and able to work within a team environment, you’ll have sound technical and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to record details and write reports. Your expertise includes switchgear, motor controls, safety systems, power generators, variable speed AC drives, pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation and PLC controls.

Committed to health, safety and the environment, you will be dual traded with Electrical and Instrumentation Trade Certificates, an ‘A’ Class Electrical Worker’s Licence and the authority to work over 600 volts. You will have extensive oil and gas, power generation or heavy industry experience and there will be a requirement for the successful candidate to be trained to work on High Voltage systems.
