LOCATION


Barrick Kanowna has a strong presence in the Eastern-Goldfields of Western Australia centred around the city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The Kanowna operation processes 2 million tonnes of refractory and free milling ore per annum from three underground mines in the region. It has significant exploration lease holdings and is one of the largest employers in the area.

This is a residential role based in Kalgoorlie

POSITION


Reporting directly to the Geology Manager the Senior Resource Geologist is primarily responsible for the implementation and maintenance of a safe, effective and efficient system of mineral resource estimation and reporting.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A tertiary qualification (minimum degree level) in Geology or a related discipline
• Knowledge of mapping, structural geology, geochemistry, drilling and sampling techniques, resource estimation methods/technology
• Previous experience in a Resource Geology role
