Cash positive gold mining company who has the potential to extend the life of the mine with exciting brownfield exploration opportunities. FIFO 9/5 roster from Perth.
As the Senior Mine Geologist you will be joining a team of 4 Geologists and a couple of Pit Technicians.
One of the Managers has said that this will be a challenging role in terms of scheduling and getting the systems up and running. With full support from the Manager, it is expected that as the Senior you will bring effective ideas to the company and make a significant impact in the way the systems are implemented and operate, to make the team's processes more effective.
Reporting to the Geology Superintendent, the key responsibilities of the Senior Mine Geologist will include:
*Mapping and geological interpretation
*Planning and supervision of resource delineation drill programs
*Grade control and management of ore stockpiles
*Production supervision
*Database management
*Train & supervise less experienced geologists and Pit Technicians

To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor of Science (Geology), gold experience, at least 5 years OP production experience with SURPAC.
