Job Description: Responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software, display driver development and simulation environment development. Works with various partners to enhance and improve graphics performance on upcoming processor graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software drivers and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware & software improvements. Also responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in yet-to-be-released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system-level software for future platforms.Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum skills and experience:
You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Linux development
- A minimum of 2 years experience with open source graphics stack.
- A minimum of five years of Linux* development of architectures (IXP, IA-32, IA-64, and others) experience
- 2+ years of experience of modifying the Linux* kernel, proficient programming skills in the C programming language
- A minimum of 5 years experience with open source software development
- A minimum of 2 years experience with Intel Chipset Architecture.
Preferred skills and experience:
- GL or kernel development experience is a preferred
- Other Rendering API experience and Media experience is preferred
