Job Description

CollabNet is building the next generation development platform as a service for the workgroup to the enterprise. We want to combine disparate development services from SCM (git, svn), Agile Management tools, code inspection, build, test, and deploy to provide an integrated, aggregated, and developer-centric user experience to make development organizations more agile. You will be working with a great team, vision, and next generation technologies.

As a Rails Engineer, you should be a flexible, results-oriented, and experienced engineer. You will be able to work in an agile, collaborative environment with the team to implement Rails based applications. You are ambitious, talented, and driven to make the project successful and make the best cloud development platform for the workgroup to the enterprise.

Job Responsibilities:
• Build the next generation cloud development platform
• Build framework for integrating backend engines that powers the cloud development platform
• Work with a team of smart, innovative, and dedicated engineers
• Work closely with product owners to define solutions and execution plan

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Skills:
• 3+ years OO programming, duck-typed language preferred
• Experience with all layers of MVC Framework
• Technical experience in Ruby, Rails, Git, Subversion, jQuery, CSS, MySQL, Perl
• Practitioner of Agile Methodology
• Excellent communication skills and experience working effectively with peers
