Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for building creative solutions for content harvesting using Machine Learning / Data Mining techniques, understand new requirements, provide ideas and drive implementation of new features.

Intel is seeking an expert in the field of large-scale Machine Learning and Data Mining to lead the development of innovative solutions. The ideal candidate needs to have: expertise on developing machine learning algorithms, data mining techniques and large-scale data harvesting based on cloud-based techniques.

The candidate must possess proven track record for applying the above techniques to solve challenging engineering issues; relevant experience in the fields of data clustering, classification, statistical modeling, predictive intelligence, etc.

Desired Skills & Experience

The candidate must have:

- Knowledge on data mining techniques, statistical models and data warehousing.
- 10 years of experience in services development and at least 5+ years of hands on experience using Data mining (preferably unstructured & business data)- Good academic knowledge and enthusiastic about learning and studying (she will keep studying because the position requires that)
- Good communication skills and advanced English.
- Non-SQL DB preferably MongoDB or Cassandra
- Cloud Technologies
- Creating, maintaining and constantly looking to improve the development and implementation process
- Excellent communicator (in Spanish and English). The candidate will be acting as technical interface, scheduling and attending meetings, explaining the technology in the proposed solutions, articulating design rationale and function strategy as it relates to accomplishing goals set out, obtaining and discussing feedback, and following through on resulting action items and investigating and answering customer questions

Good to have:

- Experience with data in general and integration process from multiples data sources & technologies
- Non-SQL DB & Columnar DB


Nice to have:

- Hadoop experience and knowledge
- Cloud Technologies
