Pacific Life is seeking an Operations Manager for the Central Divisional Sales Organization (DSO) located in Chicago, IL. This person is responsible for managing all aspects of the DSO operations to achieve or exceed annual DSO production goals. Areas of supervision include: new business, case design, marketing, and policy services. Responsible for identifying and implementing ways to improve DSO efficiencies. Works with producers to build and maintain existing relationships and when needed, works to resolve escalated and non-routine matters.
Requires strong knowledge of life insurance products and the industry gained through 8+ years experience in the industry or through a combination of experience and coursework. Must have proven leadership ability and management skills with successes in influencing others to act in improved capacities. Must also have proven interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to work with customers and foster business relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. Project management skills helpful. Proficient in the use of personal computers, specialized software, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Must have Series 6 & 26 licenses or obtain within 6 months of hire. College degree preferred.
