Skype advertising is a new advertising solution being brought to marketers globally. This is an incredible opportunity to be on the forefront to help drive this movement and make an immediate contribution in selling advertising within Skype platform. In the role, you will partner with Account Executives and serve as an expert on Skype advertising to help grow revenue. You will evangelize Skype’s advertising product and develop solutions for our strategic and emerging clients.

In addition to close collaboration with the Sales team, this role will:
•Engage with direct advertisers, media agencies, and the Skype Product team
•Develop sales strategy, positioning and own monthly forecasting and performance
•Build revenue infrastructure (planning ad products & creating sponsorship packages) to revenue generation (conceiving innovative ideas, pitching and closing deals, managing senior level relationships, and renewing business)

Qualifications include:
•A minimum of seven years related experience in successful direct sales, business development, or account/media management in selling advertising solutions (online and offline).
•Experience with Emerging technology solutions preferred
•BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university or a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
•Possess entrepreneurial and consultative heart and thrive on building partnerships and strategic alliances
•Strategic, results-oriented thinker with clear and confident written and oral communication skills to effectively understand and communicate entertainment, advertising, and sponsorship solutions
•Experience selling to national tier accounts and closing seven figure deals
•Strong skills in initiating executive-level contacts in accounts and their agencies, securing sales presentation opportunities, and demonstrated success in closing new business relationships
•Infectious passion for digital products and a sense of enthusiasm, fun, and imagination associated with a group committed to transforming our industry
•Represent the division and company with integrity and trustworthiness, while persuasively selling the benefits of online advertising and overcoming any objections
•Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment where internet advertising is often sold before product offerings are fully developed and features change rapidly
•Ability to travel up to 35% nationally to attend internal and external meetings, conferences, and other industry events
