We’re currently looking for a Sales Engineer (Mobility) to join our Mobility Sales team in Moscow, Russia.
Having wide-ranging experience, the ideal candidate uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. The Sales Engineer (Mobility) is responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with the customer’s business issues and objectives. Assist in developing business value propositions around Citrix products and solutions. Drives sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability and a superior customer focus. Participates as part of a sales team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an experienced professional in the field, uses technical sales best practices in providing pre-sales technical support for the technical sales process of Citrix Solutions.
Provides a role within the sales teams in assessing potential application of Citrix Solutions to meet customer’s business needs.
Leverages product knowledge, in their area of focus, to provide technical expertise to the Citrix sales team and customer through customer needs, overcome objections, Technical sales presentations; product demonstrations; and product proof of concepts, focusing on achieving the technical win.
Participates in the consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies.
Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization, uncovering business requirements and opportunities. Provides this voice of the customer back to management and product teams.
Ability to leverage and maximize partners as the fulfillment channel while working with Citrix end user accounts on IT and business initiatives.
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely or at customer locations/Citrix facilities on Citrix Solutions value proposition
Provide regular and efficient updates on assigned accounts to sales engineering management.
Ensure accurate and timely activity and issue updates in SalesForce.com and reporting to management.
Create and deliver technical product presentations and/or training sessions to channel partners and customers, in a 1:1 or 1:many fashion, including regional and major trade shows
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to apply a thorough understanding of Citrix products required, understanding the broader virtualization and mobility stack.
Experienced ability to motivate, train and conduct seminars to drive mind share within partners and key local groups to increase Citrix revenues within assigned territory.
Has the ability to maintain relationships with business and technical resources at all levels of a customer organization.
Thorough understanding of technical sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcome objections, assist in the development of business cases, and technically close deals.
Able to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Citrix solution strategy to a technical level of detail for their area of focus.
Ability to diffuse complicated technical and political situations with partners and customers.
Must be flexible, dependable, and capable of quickly learning new products and technologies.
Exhibits a positive attitude, represents Citrix to business partners and customers in the best possible fashion, and fosters interest in our offerings.
Prioritizes and manages a number of diverse tasks – exemplary time management skills.
Completes paperwork and uses internal Citrix account management applications in a timely fashion (expenses, CRM entries, feedback questionnaires)
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability.
Previous experience with at least one major mobile or mobile management solution provider.
Strong understanding of mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows Mobile and BlackBerry.
Strong understanding of mobility solutions based on Blackberry Enterprise servers and ActiveSync.
Must have a good understanding of deploying IT based messaging solutions based on Microsoft Exchange.
Knowledge of the technical components of an enterprise IT infrastructure. This includes Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs and Virtualization
Understanding of networking and support challenges for wireless applications.
Understanding of client / server and cloud architectures and operations.
Enterprise management tool experience, which may include Microsoft System Center, HP OpenView, BMC Patrol/Remedy, among others.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008.
Knowledge of Web based technologies such as Web Services and .Net.
Knowledge and awareness of IT security standards such as FIPS, PKI, SSL, SAML.
Additional spoken languages will be a plus.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience):
8+ years prior sales engineering experience in a high tech environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology
Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate offices in California and Florida
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
Networking and security certifications a plus
