This position is responsible for selling Microsoft Corporation and partner solutions to enterprise product group accounts across multiple industries that may include CPG , manufacturing and Retail. This role requires a sales executive with industry knowledge; solid knowledge of a wide range of solution and partner offerings, the ability to call on senior business executives, and a proven track record of successfully managing and closing complex sales in a diverse set of enterprise accounts. This individual will be on the forefront of Microsoft's evolution from a recognized leader in desktop computing to a solutions oriented company that delivers business value through technology.

The position will own the orchestration across multiple corporate accounts integrating an overlay team that includes Partner Managers, Solution Sales Specialist, ISV Managers, Industry Managers, Services, Product and Account Technical Strategist; accordingly the ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple large opportunities is critical. This role prefers an experienced salesperson with 5+ years selling to enterprise customers and growing a territory.

A successful candidate must be able to creatively tackle complex architecture sales, major competitive threats, customer "inertia," be able to quickly make appropriate judgment calls and appropriately allocate resources. Also critical will be a high level of customer satisfaction, the ability to add value to customer relations and overall account goals.

In addition, this candidate must have demonstrated work experience with technical understanding of computer software technology and effective presentation skills; strong project management and account development skills; knowledge of the IT industry as well as the CxO business challenges, including enterprise customer requirements; understanding of the channel; knowledge of the business drivers for enterprise accounts; excellent communication, and organizational skills; Microsoft and competitive product knowledge preferred. A BA/BS degree in Business or Marketing preferred. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois. Moderate travel required.
