The CRM Sales Solution Sales Professional (SSP) will be a senior sales executive who possesses excellent organizational, communication and selling skills. The successful candidate will have 4-10 years of solution selling experience, and preferably at least 4 years in a direct sales role within the CRM industry. The successful candidate will have an understanding of CRM systems, as well as the CRM value proposition (ROI).
The SSP will be responsible for managing, leading and closing the top Microsoft opportunities within the Midwest marketplace for Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions. These opportunities will be defined as the largest and most complex CRM opportunities for the Midwest area. The SSP will also engage with complementary Microsoft Account teams to identify and drive CRM opportunities within our largest Microsoft customers. Position is preferably based in Chicago, but consideration will be given for Milwaukee and Indianapolis areas for the right candidate.
A successful Microsoft Solution Sales Professional (SSP) will contribute to the Midwest sales team by focusing on complex deals, including building relationships with Industry leaders within the Microsoft ecosystem. The SSP will be involved in specific and strategic sales opportunities, and in developing and delivering demand generation programs designed to uncover net new Dynamics sales opportunities within specific industries. To be successful in role, the candidate will need to deliver total solutions to prospects, customers and partners will be dependent upon teaming with Microsoft Partner Account Managers within field sales, partners, as well as other Microsoft sales and technical sales resources.
Additional Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to achieving overall revenue targets and solution positioning. The successful candidate must also engage with partners in the strategy, solution, proof and closing stages of a given sales cycle. Candidates with the ability to succeed in this role will display the following attributes: Excellent sales, communication, negotiation, problem solving and organizational skills; understanding of Microsoft’s strategic direction; ability to develop successful compete strategies, deliver effective presentations; ability to engage with a wide range of audiences from end user to senior management, and a thorough understanding of a CRM sales cycle.
Qualifications:
A BS/BA degree is required
4+ years in a direct sales role within the CRM industry preferred
Understanding CRM transformation and value proposition
Ability and willingness to work within a leveraged, partner selling model
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of time
