Job Description

A leading global fixed-income, e-trading platform firm seeks an experienced creative Product Manager to drive their European initiatives.   This firm specializes in connecting institutional investors and dealers to improve liquidity, efficiency, and transparency.
 
You will be offered a competitive 6-figure compensation package as well as an executive  benefits plan. Compensation is comprised of base salary; annual cash bonus which is based on individual, group, and company results; as well as equity in the company.
 
                                         This position is based in London and you will report to the Head of Europe.
 
You will be in charge of developing new and innovative solutions for the market.  We are, therefore, seeking someone that would welcome both the opportunity and the challenge to develop innovative electronic trading solutions for the European fixed income markets.  The company has unique competitive advantages in the US credit e-trading space, and is committed to build-out its successful business model globally.
 
In addition, your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategy execution to include developing and overseeing product design, and working closely with technology management on product development for client-to-dealer, dealer-to-dealer, and other trading solutions.
 
Product development initiatives will focus on enhancing our core product offering as well as integrating the data and services of:

• Trading functionality / market model design
• Trading solutions and protocols in light of impending regulatory reform
• Product scope
• Creatively leveraging firm’s products to enhance the client experience
• Straight through processing and post-trade solutions
• Thinking about creative market solutions to expand the companies footprint including establishing / retaining key partnerships
• Product pricing
• Asset class expansion

 Marketing and influence to include providing a compelling value proposition to the buy-side community.  The product manager will need to be actively involved in meeting with, and influencing, large investor clients.

• The product manager should also develop and articulate a dealer value proposition that influences those dealers to participate in our platform; and
• The product manager will be responsible for establishing internal performance metrics around product adoption, market share, and applicable new client acquisition. 

We seek a solution focused individual capable of generating results.  In addition, we expect you to: 

• Be very familiar with the global fixed-income market and the European credit market in particular with intricate knowledge of the credit product sales and trading. 
• Have your own strong network in the corporate bond market.
• Be informed about the upcoming regulatory changes and how they are likely to affect market structure throughout Europe.
• Have a proven track record in successfully leading and developing an internal team.
• Have the ability to set budgets and create financial plans.
