Job Description
Maintain good relationship between Tangguh LNG and local community by regularly visiting villages/district around the plant and manage the implementation of community investment programs.Key accountabilities
1. To conduct social analysis in DAVs especially in anticipating of tension and other emerging social issues;
2. Liaise with government officials in district and village level, plays critical roles in networking, stakeholders consultation and coordination, facilitate the entry of social investment programs in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak Regencies.
3. Facilitate the CAPs programs monitoring, and ""Participatory Planning"" (PBM) proses and ensuring that the implementation is according with the agreed procedures;
4. As mandated in AMDAL documents; to manage social programs such as Education, Health, Livelihood and Governance in Directly Affected Villages (DAV), high ability in managing and organizing community programs;
5. Managing community concerns and aspiration with regard to AMDAL documents establishment for Tangguh Development, both in Teluk Bintuni and Fakfak Regencies. To facilitate/hold meeting with community in making clarification of community aspirations and demands with regard to Tangguh Development;
6. To response any conflict and tension with community that may arise, provide advice to CRP and C&EA management on the action that should be taken and facilitate the decision making process - interact with community regularly;
7. Ensuring that all programs are implemented according to the principles of community development e.g.: consultation, empowerment, participation, partnership and sustainability;
8. Socialize the project activities to the community e.g. Drilling, Geotechnical and Geophysical and seismic survey;
9. Manage community grievances’, ensure that all grievances are responding within the agreed time limit.
10. Oversee partners’ work; ensuring that all activities in villages/districts are carried-out as per agreed work order.
Essential Education
- Academy graduate or bachelor degree
- Senior High School Graduate with 15 years relevant experience
Essential experience and job requirements
1. Understand Papuan culture, especially tribes around Bintuni and Berau bays such as; Sebyar, Sumuri and Irarutu
2. Understand communities/social issues, aspiration and “adat” demand related to the present of Tangguh LNG and able to response whenever required.
3. Relate well and communicate effectively with all segments in community and local government
4. Posses high sensitivity toward local culture
5. Has experiences and knowledge in implementing community investment programs
6. Calm and patient; good communication skill, good ability in listening and response properly
7. Able to translate company messages into ""community languages"
8. Able to make plan and reports and a team work player attitude."
9. Able to work with community and stay in villages with minimum logistical support

2. Posses high experience and skill in conflict resolution
3. Strong leadership skill; able to communicate internally e.g with Security Group, Logistics, Harbour and Marine
