Job Description

The position will be back-to-back with the Project Manager, ensuring that the safety of the people working for the company is maintained at the highest standard and taking on Project Manager duties in the absence of the incumbent.

You will be jointly responsible for the entire mining function, overseeing drill & blast and production and ensuring all targets are met and exceeded, all the while maintaining a safe and positive working environment. You will be the registered ticket holder when necessary. As well as this close liaison with the client is key, as they seek to make the most of a unique, challenging and interesting operation.

Desired Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role a WA Quarry Manager's Certificate of Competency is essential, as is a Bachelor level qualification in Mining Engineering and proven experience in open pit mining environment. You have a proven track record in leading and ensuring the safety of a team. You will be rewarded with an above market salary and the opportunity to work in a great team environment.
