About Our Client
Our client is an energy trading and consulting firm focusing on emerging markets with a global presence and a strong client base. An exciting opportunity has been shifted to Singapore to join as an experienced oil operator (Crude) and contribute to the future development of the firm.
Job Description
As Crude Oil Operator you will have a strong focus on all aspects of Oil Operations. You have a clear understanding about the commercial aspects of supply and trading and you will be covering operations in trading crude. You will work well with multiple groups and senior management around the world, including marketers and traders based in Switzerland. You will manage individually all aspects across cargo operations, demurrage, quality issues, losses and supply disruption issues.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have a strong experience in an operations management position and at least 3-5 years in oil operations. You will have a solid understanding of all commercial aspects of the supply and trading of Crude and a proven track record of capability in all aspects of oil operations and logistics. Experience of cargo oil operations in Africa is advantageous. You are able to influence and engage at all levels and have excellent communication skills.
