Job Description

• Leads the integrated operations of various functions (project management, engineering, commissioning, service and erection) within the local product group
• Implement the organization structure and ensure that the roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and that no ambiguities of accountabilities exist
• Proper resource deployment for closure of old projects and liquidating the variation orders and retention amounts
• Clear identification of risk profile and mitigation plan of the project before hand-over itself
• Developed and standardize plans for the application and engineering solutions according to the strategic plans
• Drive standardization in design and engineering solutions based on scope definition of projects
• Project Resource planning and project org structure to be identified and responsibilities of each project member clearly identified
• Ensure common site management and commissioning team available for all project sites as required. Map the scope and volume of each project and ensure that the resource deployment is sufficient
• Work with country / division / business unit (BU) for OPEX and assist in roll out of priorities.
• Collaborate with the occupational health and safety (OHS) responsible and ensure each project has a project-specific OHS plan reviewed and approved

Desired Skills & Experience

• A diploma or degree in electrical engineering, or relevant project management experience
• Experience in handling a business volume of around $100 million with multiple projects running in parallel is essential
• Possess the ability to lead and mold multi-cultural, cross-functional teams
• Full understanding of complete P&L financials and ability to forecast business numbers
• Thorough knowledge of using SAP ERP platform
• Able to coach or mentor the team in all dimensions and create harmony
• PM Certification is an added advantage
