Our client is a leading UK and European supplier in their chosen industry with an impressive blue chip customer base. They offer a full range of services from concept to completion including engineering, manufacturing and on-site services on behalf of national and multi-national companies in a variety of market sectors. An opportunity has now arisen for a Graphic Designer to join their team.
This is the ideal role for a creative graphic or design professional looking to develop their skills and abilities with a leading company. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing site layout drawings for customer approval and planning applications, as well as creating innovative and effective artwork for our client's signs.
Using the latest cutting-edge design technology, you will develop an understanding of customers' requirements and produce technically accurate drawings and creative designs to fulfil their needs.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least one year's computer based graphics or design experience, gained through your studies, professional experience or similar. Equally important is your creative flair and sharp attention to detail, coupled with an appreciation for graphic design.
As a Graphic Designer, you must possess a creative mindset and be bursting with ideas, coupled with a team player mentality and superb communication skills. Self motivated and numerate, you must also have the ability to work on your own initiative, as well as interpret basic technical drawings.
Knowledge of Corel Draw (version X5), Adobe Photoshop (version CS), Inventor or AutoCAD software would be beneficial to your application.
