G-Resources is an Asia-Pacific gold company, based and listed
in Hong Kong, and is operating the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatera. Having
poured our first gold bars, the mine and processing plant is now focused on
achieving the ramp up phase to go into full production. The open cut mine, with
an average strip ratio of less than 1.4:1, and a conventional processing circuit
incorporating jaw crushing, SAG and ball milling and CIL, is targeting to
initially process 4.5 mtpa to produce 250,000 ounces of gold and 3 million
ounces of silver annually. The Martabe Gold Mine is striving to maintain an

compliance to mining regulations as well as developing and managing mining
activities with the involvement of local communities.
To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the
achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for
candidate to fill the role:
SENIOR EXPEDITOR (SCM 0459)
This position will be based in Martabe project and reports
directly to Procurement Superintendent or Logistics Superintendent.
The role of the position Senior Expeditor is to manage the
timely expediting of all purchase orders for company operating equipment, parts
and supplies. Under the direction of the Procurement Superintendent, the
Expediting Team will be responsible to ensure the "On Time In Full" delivery of
goods to the mine site and/or the nominated delivery point. The majority of the
incumbent tasks are aligned to site purchasing activities and PTAR s Suppliers,
International and Domestic Freight Forwarder, Timely updating of the Pronto ERP
System and to provide timely feedback to all users of the Purchasing system.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the
following qualifications and experience:
1. Formal degree qualification in Purchasing/procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering.
2. Minimum 5-10+ years experience in purchasing in mining industry.
3. Sound understanding of relevant domestic and international purchasing practies.
4. Sound knowledge of domestics and international freight forwarding practices.
5. Well developed computer skills (ERP systems and Microsoft) and the ability to implement and maintain effective processes and procedures.
6. Strong documentation skills, sound business sense, advanced English language documentation skills with high attention to detail.
7. Good communication skill in English.
8. Good interpersonal skills.
