I am looking for my client a Senior Rotating Machinery Engineer, for a 12 months contract based in Paris ( France ).

As Senior Rotating Machinery Engineer, you will manage Mechanical rotating equipment and related packages and utilities Pre-FEED and FEED engineering studies for offshore gas and condensate treatment, liquefaction process facilities, power generation and utilities.

Key responsibilities include :

Guarantee the technical assurance and provide technical expertise of assigned studies;

Act as focal point and technical authority for rotating equipment, engineering, installation and commissioning as well as applicable codes and standards and Owner’s specific design and quality control requirements during fabrication and installation, performances testing;

Provide technical advice to management on the subject of rotating equipment and packages layout, configuration, handling for installation and maintenance;

Monitor the performance of design contractors and suggest remedial actions to avoid design deficiencies;

Skills :

You have a Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering Post graduate qualifications and chartered engineer highly regarded

You have 15+ years experience and a minimum of 5 to 10 years in pre-FEED and FEED in a similar role.
An Operator experience would be advantage.
Significant exposure to offshore O&G projects and knowledge of relevant Australian (AS) and international codes mandatory.

Fluent in English and in French.
