Our client is a global market leader providing a wide range of quality services to the Oil & Gas sector. With a remarkable history of delivering some of the largest and most complex projects within the industry, they are looking to expand on their already impressive portfolio of successfully completed projects. This professional team has a requirement for a Mechanical Engineerto join in their success.
Responsibilities and key duties will include the review of technical drawings, management of draftsmen, conducting mechanical design activities and the ability to review and complete design deliverables associated with smooth running of the project. You must be able to demonstrate asolid understanding of the full engineering processes related to the delivery of large scale Oil & Gas projects.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- A proven track record with 5+ years’ experience offshore Oil & Gas projects with reputable companies
- Technical expertise across range of engineering skills including interpreting drawings and specifications, sub-contractor management, cost control and contractual nous.
- Excellent computer literacy and extensive knowledge of relevant software programmes.
- A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
