We have a vacancy for the role of Head of Operational Support, Papua New Guinea. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will use your diverse skills and experience to execute the following key accountabilities:
- Demonstrate operational leadership to guide the Trade and Payments Service team and co-ordinating the delivery of Operational Support functions to front end business
- Deliver operational performance in an environment of continuous improvement and culture of customer obsession
- Provide strategic and operational support to the COO and where necessary to PNG Management
- Drive and champion change implementation to create high performance team members to ensure alignment across different functions
- Manage multiple major projects / streams involving significant business value and risk implication for the county / region / group in line with business strategy and within defined accountabilities and constraints
- Ensure compliance with all regulator and mandatory processes and requirements
To be successful in the role, you should have demonstrated the following capabilities:
- Extensive experience managing diverse banking operations
- Strong change management abilities
- Banking operations experience
- Proven leadership capability and strong customer focus
- Strategic planning skills
