They are currently recruiting for the position of Rig Shutdown Project Engineer, based in Baku Azerbaijan

Responsibilities include:
Technical Specialist input for Drilling Facility shutdowns
Advise on issues relating to the technical integrity and regulatory compliance for shutdowns.
Identify weaknesses and inefficiencies in the shutdowns and deliver cost effective solutions to improve efficiency.
Primary interface with the drilling contractor, engineering services provider, vendors, procurement and logistics to implement agreed solutions and optimisations.
Review integrated shutdown plans and ensure that all relevant activities are included in the detailed plans.
Detailed review of major equipment over-hauls, surveys and inspections to provide greater understanding of future shutdown strategies.
Ensure that all certification is correctly identified, received and recorded.
Ensure that inefficiencies are correctly recorded to allow continuous improvement.
Develop & monitor shutdown budget forecast.
Monitor new technology develops into drilling equipment monitoring system and maintenance systems applicable to condition based monitoring & change preventative maintenance system accordingly

Experience/Qualifications
Essential
Diploma in Engineering or other related Technical discipline
Extensive drilling equipment maintenance experience with Major Oil Company or Major Drilling Contractor or Major Drilling Equipment Manufacturer or combination of.
Significant experience of Maintenance Management System
Significant experience of drilling shutdowns and recertification processes
Demonstrable Project Management Skills
Supervisory experience
