Job Description

My client is currently looking for an Epidemiologist or Senior Epidemiologist to join their successful and growing company. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in research and applications and will also hold international epidemiology research practice.
Responsibilities:

• Project manage:  meta-analysis, database, literature reviews
• Give records of all activities related to trial information files
• Keep track of and document contact and business development activities
• Account for project budgets relating to epidemiology
• Contribute to Business Development activities when required
• Improve operations to help raise value of epidemiology to the company
• Maintain and work in line with business procedures and policies in place
• Manage and develop system for supervising drug AEs
• Work as Epidemiologist for both local and international trials
• Support trial designs, Clinical Research Forms and statistical plans
• Communicate work to clients/organisations
• Focus on and work towards project targets
• Develop professional relationships with other teams involved
• Manage projects and their implementation
• Contribute to conferences and meetings when needed

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications/Requirements

• PhD specialising in Epidemiology
• 2+ years experience in international setting (preferred)
• Epidemiology research experience
• Experience in applying research to practice
• Excellent computer skills including knowledge and skills in using safety and epidemiological databases
• Ability to communicate effectively
