Job Description

Job Title: Project Coordinator (Service Excellence)
Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 depending on experience
Benefits: Performance related bonus, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday, corporate bens
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Travel: 5%

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
We are currently recruiting a Service Excellence Project Coordinator within Business Excellence Services to coordinate the delivery of some improvement projects.. The Service Excellence team is split into ‘Continuous User Insight’ and ‘Improvement projects’. This last area includes all projects that have a strong user experience business case as well as financial, and span across all ES service lines. All projects in this space are global, cross functional, and high profile.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 
As Service Excellence Project Coordinator you will be responsible for:
• Timely collection and analysis of data to build the business case for improvement projects.
• Design of solutions to improve user experience with our internal services.
• Creating and maintaining realistic project plans and tracking activity against plan. Holding others accountable to deliver.
• Monitoring costs, timescales and resources used of project work-streams, and taking action where these deviate from agreed tolerances.
• Identifying and resolving issues in a specific work-stream that may hinder change.
• Providing regular and accurate reporting to project stakeholders and chairing weekly project team meetings and monthly project board meetings with senior project stakeholders.
• Compiling project documentation to manage the projects through the project management phases.

Desired Skills & Experience

 
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
 
• Project Management experience ideally within a business process improvement area.
• Business Process Improvement – ideally possessing a background in service excellence /  improving user experience
• Business Process mapping e.g. user journeys – ideal but not essential
• Stakeholder Management – previous experience of working in a cross functional team, leading project meetings.
• An awareness of change management and how it might affect users.
• Requirements gathering – experience of understanding stakeholder needs, documenting and analysing findings.
