Job Description

Scope:
The primary function of the role is to provide leadership to an Operations Business Unit within a manufacturing plant, with specific accountability for delivering the annual business plan within budget. This entails leading and coordinating resources from those with Engineering, Planning and Quality backgrounds as well as a substantial element of the Production activities of the Plant. The position is a key member of the Site Management Team.

Desired Skills & Experience

Profile:

• Primary degree or higher qualification.
• 5 to 7 years functional management experience in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment, including a minimum of 3 years Lean/WCM experience.
• Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated understanding of how to develop a CI culture.
• Previous experience of leading/implementing change in a manufacturing environment.
• Appropriate financial acumen to lead a manufacturing business unit.
