Maintenance Planner

Force Equipment is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner. This is a crucial role within our expanding mine site operations. The successful applicant will need to have extensive experience in maintaining heavy mining equipment and be able to work as part of a team.

You will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining our maintenance system to effectively schedule workshop planners
  • Compile an accurate history of major overhauls and component replacement for each machine
  • Planning and scheduling of major component change outs
  • Scheduling of preventative maintenance
  • Analysing component failure and preparing improved maintenance strategies
  • Continually assess maintenance strategy and make improvements where necessary (cost and capabilities)
  • Measure and monitor improvements
  • Forecasting maintenance costs
  • Compiling monthly plant reports and liaising with the client
  • Ensure timelines for maintenance are achieved
  • Operate within organisation and client KPIs
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Prior experience in a maintenance planning role with mobile plant
  • Mine site experience
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer literate
  • Planning and organising work to match work schedules
  • Experience with Caterpillar earth moving equipment highly regarded
