This mine is an underground metals operation that has a significant mine life and offers high levels of job security to its employees.
In this position as Senior Mining Engineer you will be reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent and will be leading a small, efficient team and will be delivering engineering solutions and working closely with production teams. You will be responsible for contributing to the safe and efficient extraction of the resource. Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
You will have mining engineering qualifications coupled with strong experience in underground mining operations. You will possess great communication skills along with demonstrated ability to lead and engage a team. You will also have strong computer skills and be familiar with relevant software packages.

- Oversee production engineering activities such as scheduling, ventilation and drill & blast
- Liaise closely with production personnel to communicate mine plans and objectives
