Senior Analyst Engineer - Oracle Fusion Middleware DeveloperThis is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. The Senior Analyst Engineer will need to be an experienced technical lead to drive the establishment of ICON’s center of excellence for Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions. The successful candidate will also work as a “hands-on” member of implementation team.
Overview of the role
· Design, configure, implement, unit test and maintain: Solutions, Services, Integrations, Portals and Applications using Oracle SOA Suite and ADF
· Be key technical communication channel across ICONs distributed teams
· Contribute to the continual improvement of ICON’s software engineering practices, guidelines, principles and enterprise architecture with a focus on Oracle SOA suite and ADF
· Create reference implementations, patterns and programming standards
· Contribute to and guide the creation of a highly available WebLogic production environment and build test and release framework
· Help drive the adoption of the Oracle Fusion Middleware stack in ICON
· Provide technical support, mentoring, training and guidance to developers
Role Requirements

· Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT industry experience, including at least 5 years’ experience implementing solutions utilizing Oracle Fusion Middleware
· Capable of leading a team, acting either as Scrum Master and/or a technical coordinator
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Advanced PL-SQL, Relational Database Design and Modeling
· Experience with data modeling tools (Embarcadero or similar)
· Good knowledge of XML and related standards, including: XSD, WSDL, XSLT, XPath and SOAP also of Service Orientated Architecture and Web Services
· Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Concepts
· Knowledge of Business Process Modeling / BPEL
· Advanced HTML, JavaScript / CSS/ JQUERY
· Willingness to Travel
Other Experience, Skills, Knowledge
· Oracle ADF or JSF
· Has implemented a Continual Integration / automated build test and release regime, including support for SOA suite and ADF
· Excellent working knowledge of Agile/Scrum
· Enterprise Java (JEE) Application Development
· Knowledge of ETL and implementation of Data integrations using Oracle ODI
